Thismoment DEC Product Updates

Jan 24, 2013

Valued Customers & Partners, We’re pleased to kick off the new year with updates to the Distributed Engagement Channel (“DEC”) that enhance analytics and reporting capabilities, give the Content Report a new user-friendly look and feel, and add Google+ integration for greater brand reach.

All of Your YouTube Data in One Place

DEC now offers the industry’s deepest analytics integration with YouTube. It’s the first solution to provide a unified view of expanded YouTube Channel Insights alongside key performance metrics from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Google Analytics. By consolidating even more data in DEC’s Content Report, we enable better visibility and a more efficient workflow. Now you can analyze additional YouTube brand channel data including Subscribers Gained, Likes, Comments, Shares and Favorites. You may also filter data by demographic.

Content Reporting that Just Feels Better

Get to know DEC’s all new Content Report, redesigned from the ground up in response to evolving customer needs. The Content Report now contains a greater level of content performance detail, including time spent on DEC viewing content, more intuitive visualization of things like shares from social networks, and 2 key new data points: average time spent viewing content and daily YouTube views.

My, These Filters Are Persistent

By popular demand, when you set a date range, region, gallery, or distribution point within the Analytics section of DEC, every subsequent page of Analytics will retain the filters you’ve selected until you log out.

A Theater for Every Device

We continue to move toward replacing all Flash-based multimedia theaters with HTML-based versions to ensure a consistent, high quality experience across all devices. We’ve released non-Flash fallback versions of the Tile and Mosaic theaters. In addition, we’ve added commenting per media to our HTML theater capabilities.

And Introducing Google+

Google+ is on the rise with more than 200 million active users. DEC already supports scheduling, moderating, and posting content to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. And you can add your Google+ brand page to the list to expand reach, improve search performance, and more effectively engage Android users.
