Thismoment DEC Product Updates – March 2013

Mar 4, 2013

We’re pleased to share a short list of updates to the Distributed Engagement Channel (“DEC”) focused on security and mobility. This edition of Updates also offers a special glimpse into life at Thismoment HQ. We hope you enjoy.

Secure the Perimeter
DEC’s login and permissions system now features stricter password requirements, password expiration, and user lockout after repeated failed login attempts. It also includes improved logging, handling for CNAME DECs, and other updates to support effective administration and governance.

Publish on Your Terms
Consistent with our commitment to make DEC the most configurable solution in its class, you may now edit Terms & Conditions (at the very bottom of your pages) via DEC’s Pagemaker. This allows you to replace the default privacy policy with your own, as well as to add additional links and policies.

New Sidecars Ready to Roll
We continue to replace our Flash Theaters with HTML versions for a more consistent, higher quality viewing experience across all devices. In addition to HTML-based “Tile” and “Mosaic” theaters, fully mobilized versions of our popular “Sidecar Left” and “Sidecar Right” theaters are now available.

More Google+
Using DEC’s Social Brand Manager, you may now edit, delete, and post comments to posts on Google+ pages that you administer. This new functionality builds on our recent launch of Google+ integration and demonstrates DEC’s community management utility.
