I've seen Ballet and a concert at the Paramount but this is the first time I've seen a movie there.
Dylan, Jamie, Alicia and I went to see the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland. Preceding the movie there was an organ player, an old news reel, a raffle, and an old preview for another musical. I think it was White Christmas.
It had been a long time since I've seen the original Chocolate Factory. You forget a lot of the little things but the words to the songs come back pretty well. That Gene Kelly makes quite the Willy Wonka.
