We celebrated the second night of Hannukah with close family and friends in what was a warm and chaotic frenzy of latkes, mulled wine, and sufkanyot (deep fried jelly donuts). It's always loud, it's always messy, but right on the cusp of a very wet winter, there is no place else I'd rather be but with our wonderful community. The first few photos are of two nights before...when Deborah and I stayed up to make the latkes. Well worth the sleep deprivation!!

What a beautiful, warm, fuzzy moment!
37 weeks agoI want a latke so bad. Happy Hannukah to all. Don't burn yourselves with splattering grease.
