For the first time, we skipped the drive to LA and had Thanksgiving here at home. Missed our families that we usually spend the holiday with down south but had a lovely evening with everyone who could make it.
"I'm thankful for my teachers, because without them, I'd think 5 plus 5 was, like, 8." - Arev
"I'm thankful for the trees, and the paper!" - Sevan
"I'm thankful for the police." - Karek (huh?)
Such a unique pleasure to celebrate Thanksgiving with a blend of three families all around one table!! food was divine, wine was plentiful, and there were happy people everywhere. Much to be thankful for as we round out another year...

14 weeks agoHey BTW, did you end up making the corn casserole thing?
15 weeks agoHasmig made it so we had a little Arpi touch at the table - it was yummy.
15 weeks agoLooks absolutely delicious...sorry I missed it.
15 weeks agoArev's comment was my favorite. From the moment I heard it come out of her mouth, I knew I would steal it for years to come.
15 weeks ago'Twas quite the feast indeed! Thanks for all you put into it, goat yogurt mashed potatoes not to be missed!! It's not easy to let go of well worn traditions. I'm thankful we can warm up our houses with new ones. I was telling Deborah when we got home that night that it was rather anti-climactic to drive home for 7 minutes rather than the usual 45...
15 weeks agoThose pictures you posted of your early morning walk/run look amazing! I'm totally jealous to have missed such a serene looking moment. And a big thumbs up to the picture of your mom, Sevan, and his action figure he snuck in there :)
15 weeks agoYeah, the only person running was Sevan. It wasn't too early either, just a misty fog over the golden gate. It was so beautiful though...
15 weeks agoVery nice moment! We missed you guys this year...but it's great that you had such a successful and happy Thanksgiving :)
