I read the reviews on the movie "500 Days of Summer" and immediatly knew it was a movie I HAD to see. The story was simple: boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girl breaks up with boy, boy becomes a mess as he trys to cope with life without the girl he loves, and spends weeks wondering the why's and how's.
At just over an hour and a half, the movie described my life, my thoughts, my feelings, and my emotions...down to the tee!!! It was as if I was looking at MY life through the lens, and not a movie.
It was brilliant! I have never connected with a movie on such a level as this one and it was the first movie in a LOOOONG time, that a movie made me lightly cry...more than once. I STONGLY recommend this movie to everyone; but mainly guys; not because I'm sexist, but because the main character is a guy, and he was dumped by his girlfriend :)
Definitely going to buy this on DVD when it comes out!

31 weeks agoIt does have a happy ending, but not the most conventional one we are all used to.
