This moment made me feel
I never really consider it, but I track a number of unusual locations for weather reports. I have Cuernavaca, México in there because of my cousins. I still keep tabs on Copán, Honduras, as that's where I did my archaeological work. And of course, I have to know what's going on in Rancho Mirage, as that's where Roscoe learned to swim. Finally, a little Amsterdam love for Kimmy and Gus! How about you? What's your craziest location?

32 weeks agoLake Tahoe...Weather Man/Woman has to be the best job! You could report 90 degrees and sunshine or 50 degrees and thrunder storms and both might happen in a 2hr period !!
32 weeks agoAh lake tahoe... we hope to get up there in a few weeks for that 90 degree burn! And how about the water temp swings... attracts weird jellies in the fall.

32 weeks agoMcNaughton, Wisconsin. My parents' lakehouse. Tracking this accomplishes a few things--1) reminder of how good we have it in bay area; 2) packing list for Xmas trip home; and 3) homework for phone call home as my dad has become weather obsessed in retirement.

33 weeks agoHanalei is permanently on mine so that when I'm sad that I'm here and not in Kauai I can check the weather and see that it's still raining there. And I just noticed Clearlake is still on there, which I'm now gonna delete so that I can forget we ever went there.

33 weeks agoI track Armenia and Turkey. It puts a smile on my face when I see pleasant weather conditions in Armenia, and foul, miserable weather in Turkey!
