Just remember , right now we already email everyone who you think you would want to collaborate . What we need to get is the people outside that set to get invited to view.
34 weeks agoI think we're on to something. "shared with" seems like it would work to me. Need to streamline the sharing/creating interface but it would get more people in moments together.
34 weeks agoI dont see why the on the moment section has to reflect who you share with, we font show all your facebook friends or Twitter followers , why would we show who you email it to, For the very reason you mention here, why wasn't I shard with? And don't we want you to share with ALL your friends? Not just who you want to collaborate with, seems this will actually make you share less. Just needs to be considered.. Can you imagine that each moment you make would list all your connections, over and over, and over

34 weeks agosharing with someone is a one-way dead end... including you as new way to share encourages collaboration. don't have me trad a wall post along with your other 700 cronies... share with me specifically so we can be in it together!
34 weeks agook, then in this case you just sent this moment to five people instead of a hundred and five. because you didn't want all your friends to collaborate.
34 weeks agoI think there is a difference between posting and sharing. Posting is what you do on facebook and twitter - you blast it out to whoever will listen. Sharing is what you do when it actually means something, when you want that specific person to be a part of it. The fact that you took the time to click their icon or type their name in connection with a specific moment is a huge distinction over the typical "fire and forget" broadcasting check box.

34 weeks agoActually, I think you share all public moments with your connections by default. Like a certain site that rhymes with "girl.". Any of your connections can join and add to the moment.

34 weeks agoyep - post to everyone (I.e the old definition of share) automaticly, and new definition of share: collaborate.
34 weeks agoexpose everyone in moment who's actively sharing... wide open... hide nothing... tag me in a photo and let the goodtimes roll! (don't shoe google collaborators until they collabrate)

34 weeks agotimelines lose focus. might be a chronological collection of meaningful moments in their life--or might be a random list of things people sent them, like some cheese market.
34 weeks agoyou can collaborate without adding to your moment flow, so no harm in merging actions (share and "in")
34 weeks agoactually not sure about that. i think everything gets added to the flow but we have a better way of distinguishing between events - there's a huge difference between big, meaningful media events, and other things I just happened to comment on or add a take to. We need to be able to reflect these differences, and of course always maintain the ability to focus in on one area or another as desired by the viewer.
