Was a Red 1985 Ford Tempo. I LOVED this car. The parking brake never worked except for the one time that I lost the real brakes going down a hill and had to yank it, it worked that time.
I was with my dad at the used car lot when he was shopping for a starter car for my older sister and I picked the Tempo out. 3 years and 2 beginner drivers later, I turned 16 and inherited the Tempo. I was the first of my friends to turn 16 so the Tempo was our ticket to freedom.

Archie our famous mechanic took such good care of that car.You are underestimating the whole thing. We actually sold that car at the end of it's mission to have 4 of you graduate from your 4 years of college.

90 weeks ago"Ticket to freedom"? More like a ticket to the ER. I can attest to the complete absence of brakes on this thing, it's a miracle everyone made it home in one piece.
