You shouldn't remember your own baptism, that's just too creepy. But since Hasmig and I were born in the Middle East amidst war time chaos and lots of moving for our family, our parents didn't get around to it when we were babies. So years later when we were settled in the States, they finally decided it was time. Dzovag totally freaked us out by convincing us that we were going to have to get naked in front of everyone to take the bath, turns out they don't get the 8 year olds naked for the public baptism, phew. With aunts and uncles coming from Lebanon and France, this event turned out to be a big family reunion for my dad's family, that was the highlight of this moment.
This was at the same church where I was married and baptized my own kids.
Chaghig's right, they definitely should not have been old enough to remember their "special bath"!
