This was one of the best trips ever - road trip through the national parks. We visited Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion, Bryce, and then met up with some friends in Vegas. I cried when I saw the Grand Canyon, it blew me away. We hiked down in 100 degree weather, unpacked our tent halfway and kept going to the bottom. We hit a surprise rain shower on the way up and came back to find all our stuff floating inside our tent. We'd left the rain fly off because there was NO sign of rain... was a very soggy night, and soggy hike back out the next day. I knew Trey loved me when he gave me the only pair of dry socks for the hike.

That place is amazing and humbling...wow, do you really remember life without kids?
73 weeks agoI'll never forget hiking down to the bottom and swimming in the Colorado river... such a rush!
77 weeks agoThat was the right way to do it! Flying all the way there for just the Canyon was crazy. Wish we strung more stops along the way.
