Jules successfully completed her qualification exams!! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! We celebrated with fine dining at Luna Ristorante in Concord.
For the past few months Jules has been nesting in the living room area. Her nest building material of choice has been academic journal papers which she has been printed nearly 2000 pages of. I have more or less been relegated to the bedroom where I have passed the time playing computer games and relearning botanical terms.
Yesterday, Jules successfully demonstrated her plant pathology knowledge to her committee of professors who tag team interrogated her. To celebrate, we had dinner in Concord with my parents. It was delicious!

38 weeks agoI see Mike broke out his fancy Clash shirt for the occasion ;)
Way to go Jules. Written exams are bad enough, I can't imagine the stress of an oral exam with a group of professors. I imagine them sitting on extra tall stools behind a huge oak desk, wearing those powdered wigs they had in Salem.
38 weeks agoCongratulations, Jules!
