I new the Lakers would win all the time...
37 weeks agotoo bad the other team didnt show up. Magic are pitiful.
38 weeks agoMaybe they did show up? And Maybe the Lakers then deserve even MORE credit for playing hard to end the series! A loss last night would have just ended in a 5 hour plane ride to LA for the Magic...only to have to fly back Tuesday night :)
38 weeks agoNope, Stephen had it right.
38 weeks agoThe past three Laker championships came against really weak teams: Magic, Nets, Sixers. When they did play a strong team, Boston last year, they lost.
38 weeks agoYou're right! However, Orlando knocked out Boston AND Cleveland this year, proving they were the stronger team with more hustle...so THIS Laker fan (and other Laker fans) will agree that Orlando played well, but Lakers played better.
38 weeks agoAlso, Orlando had an amazing record at home, and only lost there 2x during the playoffs prior to the Lakers visiting. It's very understandable that not everyone likes the Lakers (some even hate them). But every time the Lakers win, haters always downgrade the win by blaming the other team for not playing well, rather than admitting that Lakers truly did play better. Last year, Celtics REALLY deserved the Championship...this year the Lakers did!
And if you hate the Lakers (and you have every right to)...there is ALWAYS next year for your team :)
38 weeks agoha- yes the Lakers did deserve it this year, I will agree on that. And they did play better. Congratulations!.. I don't think next year the warriors will be anywhere close to the Championship I am afraid.
38 weeks agoblah blah blah. I'm just glad the stupid finals are over so these moments stop crowding my update list.
38 weeks ago:) ;) :O
It was only a matter of time before grumpy cousin Chaghig had a say in this :) Haha!

Ugh, but true.
41 weeks agoI just found a very cool feature in tM: "If you feel that you have been included in this moment in error, go to the moment and remove yourself."
41 weeks agoBut you requested to be added... I'm certain of it! What are you hiding, JW, that you're too embarrassed to admit in front of the Téjas boys?
41 weeks agoPleaser Fro-gurt Yo-Cup says this moment won't ever move out of the future past the now line.
41 weeks agoNoel? This one's on you...
41 weeks agoI'm already up to two pleasers... I'll take that bet!
