This moment made me feel
The Morrison's had a wonderful brunch at their amazing villa in the Oakland Hills. It was great to see all the kids play together and to relax with friends in the warm mid morning sun. ... then afternoon sun as the brunch turned into a full day long party. Noel and Kelly rolled with it, buying beer again and again and making tasty snakes and sandwiches available for all. That's the problem with being such great hosts and having a wonderful house and yard, no one leaves. Thanks to Kelly and Noel for opening up their home up to a wild bunch, and thanks to Scott and Amy for getting the pool, that really took every last bit out of the kids second and fourth winds... Austin fell asleep as soon as I buckled him in the car.

It was such a treat to ring in Spring (Summer?) with all of you.
Thanks to all of you for the contributions and for hanging out into the afternoon, especially to Scott and Amy for the last-minute kiddie pool run. Here's to many more brunches that turn into afternoon beer and kiddie pool parties!
Next time, we grill!

I love how "anywhere between 10 am and nap time" turned into all day long. Thank you so much Noel & Kelly for letting us taking over the lovely villa for the day - it really is the best setup ever!
