Mike and I joining a CSA. Yay local produce. They have a pick up location a few blocks from where we live, so it will be convenient. I'm looking forward to the fresh produce! We are going to get 1 box every two weeks, and see how that goes.

49 weeks agoWere you inspired by your French Laundry gastronomical adventure experience? I hear they shop for all their produce the day of, and base the menu off what they find.
49 weeks agoYes, and they do have their own garden for extra fresh produce as well! I've actually been meaning to enroll in a csa program for the past year, but haven't gotten around to it :D I figure putting it on my timeline will spur me into action! Plus, the location and allowable pick up times for this particular CSA are very convenient and within walking distance. I think it will be fun to try to figure out what to cook based on what they give us.
49 weeks agoConor and Eliza have a weird veggie box delivery that shows up on our front steps. It's not gated or anything, so they just stick it behind the column. So far so good though!
