While on Safari we had a couple of "Butlers" that would take care of our food and drinks. The kid for the drinks was named Nicholas and he was so great. Well, on the way out, I put together pile of money for the tips for everyone and put them in individual pockets so I could pull them out at the right time and hand it to them without looking.

Well, I didn't realize the people that were bringing us coffee and cleaning our tent would show up to take our bags up to the truck for us and hint around for a tip. So this through my whole plan off and my pockets got out of order.

I went around and tipped everyone and felt so good for what I considered to be very generous tips for some amazing service and hospitality.

When we got to the airport and I reached in to tip our last driver, I pulled out way more American money then I thought I had. I just went into a complete panic because I realized that someone didn't get their tip. I felt horrible, but then when I realized what has really happened, I felt like I needed to run to the trash can! Seems that I gave Nicholas about a $0.75 tip! I would have rather I just forgot and gave him nothing. But you know they are going to talk to each other and find out what we gave the others and that the guy we liked the best got an insult.

We checked into the flight and got right to a computer and sent a note, but it took days to get a reply because of the weekend. Turns out it is not that easy to just give him a tip by credit card. We are going to have to fax in some info and I am going to send him a picture of us with him to make sure the right person gets the money and that he knows we are not scum bags.
