"This was the first day in, the first day that the troops let us back in the house.. just a week after when we were evacuated.
It was the first time that we were allowed to see the extend of the damage that the flood had made on our home. You can see the visible water line on all the wood work.
We were surprised at how much damage there was, but on the other hand, how little damage there was. There was lot of muck and lots of stink."
